Overall, a good keyboard. For me, the mechanical "feel" is preferred - i really liked the old Microsoft keyboards. Size is good, not too big, not too small. Backlighting is useful. Longer term reliability I am not so sure about - I replaced one of the same model that I had used professionally only for a couple of years because the "n" character stopped working. Disappointing to have an otherwise perfectly good keyboard that I can't use, but overall, I like the keyboard enough to choose a direct replacement..

As a touch typist I find this keyboard to be very responsive and very durable. With the Logitech Unifying Receiver, it is very easy to set up and has a good range (distance). What's more, in addition to the keyboard, I also have a mouse and headset operating from the same Unifying Receiver and have not noticed any lag/delay on my devices. This is great as the 3 devices all operate from one USB port which leaves me with 2 free ports for other items. The adjustable backlighting is good as it makes some of the lesser known keys easier to locate in low light and would be good for those that aren't familiar with the keyboard layout. The battery life is very, very long and the keyboard is still fully functional during recharging times. Prior to purchasing a second keyboard, I was carrying my original one between home and office. Now I have two, that is no longer necessary. Perhaps this keyboard is not suitable for gaming requirements but it is fantastic for office, home office and general computing use.Read full review

Found this a very nice addition to home / office. Keys are bit plastic feeling, but everything looks good quality, looks nice, and was easy to setup with my existing Logitech mouse. Rechargeable, with no fiddly batteries is a big plus, and you can also use it while recharging. Illuminated keys is a very nice feature, and one I'll look for in future keyboard purchases.

This is my second K800. The first one is still alive though starting to slow down--even after changing the rechargeable AA batteries--but it mostly needed replacing because after 9 years of daily use and untold spills, it was starting to get pretty ratty. I thought about going for another model but opted for staying with the K800 because it has been so reliable and comfortable for so long. The responsive, backlit keys are a dream to work with, as is the layout of the board and its functionality, so why fix what ain't broke. I highly recommend this keyboard.
