The Logitech M705 Wireless mouse fulfils most of its required functions adequately. One problem noted was that when the cursor 'spinner' mode was in fast action it sometimes lost control and the cursor would rapidly move from the point and path and speed you wanted to track down which became annoying. The only solution for this was to switch back to the slower mode in the 'spinner'. Apart from this the unit is well moulded for hand comfort and works to specifications.

Purchased this to replace my broken G9X after reading great reviews, Mouse it a complete POS, lag stutters and has the least smooth tracking of any mouse I've ever tried, I've used it on glass, Mouse Pads, Wood, every surface I could find and was left disappointed every time. The $12 dell mouse I have on my computer at work performs better.

Fits my hand really well. Comfortable to use for hours. Has a contoured left side where my thumb goes that makes it very easy to grip with minimal pressure. Accurate and precise. This is the second one of this model I have bought. The first one is still going great after years of use. Good battery life.

I've had one of these for several years, originally bought as part of a Logitech Cordless desktop. The original unit has been great, so when it finally started to play up, I bought this new one to replace it. I find this new mouse just as good at the old one, and that means that it's a really top grade cordless mouse. The only problem I have is not with the mouse, but with Logitech's Unifying software. This is totally Microsoft-centric, therefore useless if one is using, as I am, Linux. Nevertheless, I have not found that this has overly limited the usability of the mouse.

I wanted a 3-button mouse to work with Linux. The top button would be the third button, but it doesn't perform the action of the third button on Linux - to paste previously marked text. Other mice from Logitech do this but but this one doesn't by default. I dislike pressing down on the scrollwheel.
