This is used to display the last remaining Ceremonial Uniform of the 6th Battalion, the Royal Melbourne Regiment Band . The Regiment was affiliated with the 6th Bn, London Fusiliers in 1935 and we wore their uniform of Busby, Scarlet Jacket and Blue trousers with a red stripe down the side. I've owned this mannequin for nigh-on a month now, and disassembled three times in its short stay. It's being used for a military display, supporting a heavy load albeit first with difficulty, this was reconciled simply and with appropriate addition to the glass stand, e.g. backpack atop stand in a hiking store. Further use will dictate the ultimate outcome but the price is perfectly reasonable.
