I have been using light weight martin strings for more years than I care to remember. They seem to last well, and give a crisp clear tone, and these are the best value Martin strings I have coe accross.

They were already corroded in small spots and the high E strings are very prone to breaking if you stretch them too high . These Mexican strings are lower quality than I have previously purchased and I believe they are using inferior steel in the manufacture now. They sound ok but not as bright as they used to . One even broke as I unwound it ready to fit . Do not buy these strings .

I tried some other expensive strings and they didn't sound very good. Then I tried these ones after seeing some good reviews and to my surprise they sound really good how the guitar used to sound. So happy. Good value too. Thanks.

Sound great on my Tanglewood acoustic guitar. The strings are easy to play and have a rich and vibrant sound. Very Happy.

Martin guitar strings are good but there are better.. A bit brassy in sound for me but sound is a very personal thing and there will be other musicians who probably love that sound!
