The surface book i7 256GB is amazing. Boot up was super fast and silent. It came with Windows 10 Professional which has great security features and networking options for my office and home use. Love it as it is a touch screen tablet with touch and pen input and a laptop that can run full software and apps. Highly recommend.

I bought this Microsoft Surface in September of 2017 to replace an Apple Macbook Pro. It is now the end of March 2018, and I have had nothing but dramas with it for the short time ive had it. Problems include: 1. Massively short battery life on normal mode. There is the option of battery saving mode, but the brightness goes down that far that you cant see what youre doing. 2. I normally reboot this computer twice a day now, as it will completly lock up. It doesnt even register a Crtl - Alt - Delete input without delay. 3. Programs will constantly become 'unusable' and will have to be re-installed from the website. 4. Slowest computer I have ever owned. Considering I never do anything such as photoshop, movie editing or anything else which requires excess CPU usage, it struggles with simple things such as running 3x MS word documents simultaneously, and spotify in the background. I consider myself a pretty patient person, but this simply isnt good enough Microsoft.Read full review
