We have had one of these Milenco 900L Antennas on our motorhome since 2014, perfect TV reception, lots of channels reached, at even outback places remote, where other fellow caravaners can't manage any signal at all. In the process of a second motorhome build that runs 2 TV sets, decided to install 2 separate antennas, rather that routing long coax front to back. I tried to save some money by buying and installing a different brand of similar UFO style TV Antenna, looks similar, has a similar amplifier booster, is promised to deliver good reception. BUT, tested reception after installing the first of 2 other brand antennas, Bugger, could only receive channel 31... I Parked both motorhomes side by side, the Milenco 900L was receiving more than 15 TV channels and 5 radio channels, the other brand repeatedly received only channel 31 and no radio channels despite several tries. I thought the difference may in part have to do with the TV sets in the Milenco aerial case having better tuners, or, the difference may lay in the boosters being if different efficiency. So, I bought another Milenco 900L antenna and before installing it, I tested it on the same TV set, side by side to the other brand of Antenna installed in the new motorhome build, the other brand remained at only reaching Channel 31 and no radio channels, the Milenco 900L immediately reached 15 channels and 5 radio stations in great clarity. I decided to test the 2 amplifier boosters, removed the amplifier booster of the other brand of Antenna, hooked up the Milenco Amplifier booster to it, and suddenly received 7 TV channels and 2 radio stations. I then hooked up the other brand amplifier booster to the Milenco 900L antenna, and received 6 channels and 1 radio station. Conclussion: The Milenco 900L UFO style antenna with its matched amplifier booster totally outperformed the other brand by a magnitude of plenty. In reaching a buying decision however, I must point out that there is another difference worth considering, one must consider the difference in cost between the two antennas, the other Brand costs AUD$ 169.00, the Milenco 900L $ 270.00 a clear and substaintial difference of AUD $100.00. Further Conclussion: If perfect and vast TV reception is of most importance in your case as it is in mine, the Milenco 900L option represents a great long investment in TV Reception. My wife and I are retirees enjoying holiday travel in our motorhome, the new motorhome is being configured to cater for our kids and grandkids. I have no affiliation with Milenco nor any reseller, I bought the Anntennas on line as I do most parts and items employed in our motorhome build, I have read many negative reviews about many products over the years, and felt that not enough positive feedback is posted about products that do perform up to and beyond expectations, so, this review is posted as to provide our positive experience with a good quailty product that has been performing beyond expectation without fail for the past 6 years The image of the Hoo Roo motorhome shows the Milenco 900L UFO style anntenal fitted at the rear in 2014, it feeds signal to 2 tv sets. The other image shows the more recent motorhome build in progress and shows the other brand of UFO style antenna fitted on the roof rear. I hope this review provides some of our personal experience, and helps consumers like us arrive at a more informed and considered buying decision. Read full review
