Author Biography
Born an Irish Jew in Dublin, Maurice White graduated in medicine then psychiatry at Trinity College Dublin. Later, he trained and worked as a Kleinian Psychoanalyst at the Institute of Psychoanalysis in London, where he became a Fellow. While a Consultant at Wormwood Scrubs he treated sex offenders and murderers, and also worked in mental hospitals in Ireland, England and Canada. A journalist and broadcaster, his hobbies have included backyard pigs and horse racing. His first novel, Keep Breathing Out, was published in 2013 by Kennedy & Boyd.
