Yes, there are actual standards for a tad, a dash, a pinch, a smidgen and a drop! When you need precision - I bought this for cheesemaking - these spoons will give it to you. Easy to use and made from stainless steel they are easy to keep clean and can be sterilised when needed. An excellent product for the home cook who likes to make things from scratch.

The largest spoon is called a Tad. I think it's 1/4 tsp (1.25 ml). The rest of the measures in descending order are Dash, Pinch, Smidgen, Drop. There is no indication as to how many milliliters or part thereof in any of them. I bought the set so I could consistently measure pure stevia powder. I make lemonade or limeade every day in a 1 liter jug or 2 liter jug. By experimentation I have learned that 1 pinch of stevia sweetens 1 liter of lemon/limeade using the juice of 1 lemon or 1 lime. So it works for me. I would still like to know how many mls in a pinch.
