I’ve been using the Philips Sonicare for about 3 years now after switching form Oral B. The Philips really does get your teeth clean and does a good job removing plaque. One reason I switche to Philips was the Oral B were still using NiMh batteries and after a few years they stopped holding charge and could not be repalced meaning I had to dispose of a perfectly good $200 toothbrush. The Li Ion last a lot longer on a charge and last longer than NiMh batteries. Oral B has since moved to Li Ion but I prefer the Philips becuase I find it less harsh on my gums. Only really criticism of the Philips, the toothbrushes are a lot dearer and harder to get them on discount.

I thought Oral-B was good until I started using Philips Sonicare. It is very efficient and your teeth feel clean and fresh, fantastic.

Cleans really well. No need for scaling. Holds charge for over a week

Unfortunately the spindle that holds the toothbrush on tends to become loose after time reducing the efficiency of cleaning. This is the third handle I have had since buying the whole unit in 2017

I purchased this as a replacement for the original which was part of a pair with the charging cup. It works but has half the vibration power. I don’t really feel it cleans the same. Disappointed.
