This little heater is just what we need when sitting outside while camping if we can’t have a camp fire. Very compact and it’s really sturdy. Our gear has to be multi purpose, so this heater fits the bill. You can boil the kettle on it then sit back with a cuppa and enjoy the heater’s warmth. Exactly what we needed.

Wonderful little heater that's the perfectly priced solution to heating a caravan or tent/camper. We wish we had this one sooner. Uses about 1 can of butane over 2 1/2 hours and when set on very low (almost out) runs for about 4 hrs. Am currently adding 8mm LPG hose to connect adapter. Just put hose in boiling water & the fitting slips on easily (add clamp!!), will run forever on a gas bottle, I'll be using a regulator with the 9Kg bottle. Highly recommend this small but very warming heater. Safe travels & enjoy on cold evenings in the desert & high country :-) Ted & Rosie - Nomads. PS butane is around $5 for 4 X 220gm cans. Just look … (Bunnings are $4.45 for 4!! )

All camping gear needs to perform at least 2 functions, this Gas heater is a gas heater and also a cooker by changing the angle of the heater assy and you can cook your breakfast or boil the kettle for a cup of tea. It takes the standard 220gm butane gas cans and has an adapter that allows the connection of a larger gas bottle, BUT does not explain how to connect and I'm sure a regulator would be needed and it does not mention what KPa rating to use. I read on the web that someone connected a gas lead from a gas bottle with a regulator by cutting off the end fitting and forcing the barb into that hose BUT I'm sure that would not be passed by local gas Authorities in Australia. Using Butane cans they last about 3hrs of heating or cooking.

I am very impressed with this, it tells you it runs for only a couple of hours per can but I ran mine for over six over hours for one can at medium temp I know it dont have a fan as you would need power then but there is a lot of heat that rises above and will heat a room without any problem if you did not have a breeze, I wanted to have this for cooking and it does that fine, makes awesome toast. Well worth the money.
