Author Biography
Robert B. Cooper ('Coop') became a published author age 18 with regular features in once-popular magazines such as Popular Electronics, Radio-Electronics, Radio TV News. Founding his own publishing house in 1960 (Horizons Publications) over the next four decades his name would appear as author for more than 40 books and thousands of periodical publication feature articles (including TV Guide, Mother Earth News, Wall Street Journal). Portobello's trilogy series is a marked departure from the more than thirty million words previously in print; it is fiction but largely based upon facts which only now can be revealed. Research for this three-book series involved a delightful mid-life sojourn; he simply moved to the Turks & Caicos Islands (1979)and over the next 11 years living on Providenciales (nee Portobello) Grace Bay Beach assembled voluminous notes - as writers are wont to do. With wife Gay, son Seth the Coopers now live in Coopers Beach, New Zealand.
