This fun character has an oblique personality that seems oblivious to other peoples feelings - much to the frustration of his college Dean and secretaries. He teaches criminal law to his students as if they are one step above gerbils. (you might agree if you teach in college) But, he has an uncanny sense of human behavior, combined with deductive reasoning that the police use as a valuable, if irritating collaborator. Sometimes, while in company with the other characters, he stares into space with wild imaginings. The supporting police characters are well played by young detectives, working for a supervisor that spends most times drunk, grieving for his deceased daughter. (also can be funny). But, sympathy is an unknown emotion for Professor T., as he cruises through cases like a sailing ship over the ocean. The well played Professor T grows on you after a while, much like the insulting character of Doc Martin. Read full review
