The screws that came with the product were of varied length, about 6 out of the box were long enough to work, the rest were so short they simply strip out when trying to insert them. Either the screws need to be longer or the counter sinks need to be deeper, what should have been a simple exercise in assembly was a nightmare. To make matters worse the fit between the bottom and top sections is terrible, the parts are cut more then 1cm out of alignment causing a ridge along the bottom curve not shown in the picture. If you do decide to purchase this chair you will need to re-countersink the holes for every slat, or provide your own screws of the correct length. We bought two of these and both have the same issues.

The product is flat pack everything is fine except the fixing of the laths imo relies on too small a thread of a screw to stay in place . I had to pin thru the face every lath with a nail gun apart from that its well worth buying

Flat pack magic with all screws and instructions. Needed a drill for all the assembly and two people as it would be annoying on your own to build. As finish product it looks great and exactly as described in pics. We love it!

Very nice looking and comfortable finished item. Assembly a little tricky. The attachment of the slats to the main frame needs some refining. One screw from behind, so there are no screws visible on the sitting surface of the chair but i fear that the strength of the connection - about 5mm of screw thread - will see the slats coming off rather easily. Personally I would prefer to screw though the slats into the frame giving a much sturdier finished product.
