Bought this knife to replace one of our set that had gone missing. These knives are well balanced and hold their edge well. They don't suffer from staining. They survive the dishwasher (not recommend by the manufacturer) but some will eventually crack the plastic around the two rivet points simply due to heat expansion and subsequent contraction. Whilst being a blemish, the handles will stay in place and remain perfectly functional.
