Working for general use but not for my needs.
I took a punt on buying this as I have about 7 old HD’s I wanted to inspect and retrieve files from. My situation is different than most as I don’t own a pc or laptop by choice and do all my work using multiple iOS devices including an iPad Pro 2018 512GB. With the latest iOS 13 I have been able to use external hard drives, memory sticks and memory cards and was hoping this device would be able to be picked up also but sadly it does not. It looks like the drives are running perfectly though so I may have to use a friends pc or laptop to retrieve my files so all is not lost. I thought I would write this review just in case anyone else is looking to do the same thing using iOS so you are aware of its inability to do so. Thankfully the price wasn’t too high so the gamble was worth it. Delivery was very fast and the item is well made. Thanks
