Melody's done it again...this book was so great! I bought this book because I was going thru the Diary of a Teenage Girl Series. It was definitely my favorite of the Chloe books and my 2nd favorite of all the original 9 diaries (she's more recently added Kim Peterson). As Chloe really finds out what it's like to live on the road she also learns to lean on God in hard times, and in good. Melody helps apply the Biblical principles we learn in Sunday school to a way that teen girls can understand. All I want to be is SOLD OUT ... for my Jesus Christ.
I bought this book after reading the first in the, "Diary of a Teenage Girl - Chloe," series. It was just as good a read as the first one. It is a story about one girl's continuing journey of discovery about her connection with God and Jesus. I think it is possible for Christians and non-Christians alike to enjoy this book, although it definitely requires an open mind. I love the themes of acceptance and understanding throughout the book. It counter-balances a lot of the more "judgmental" Christianity that I see so often. I would definitely recommend this book to any teenage or young adult women.
I read the first Chole book and then I just got hooked. I am next going to read the next Chole book. The wait for the book to come in the mail was unbarable. These books dont exactally realate to my life but they are very spiritually uplifting.
