This product is for the most part very well designed and built. At $140 delivered it is reasonably good value. There are two features that need improvement. The brake cables where they are attached to the brake levers are not very secure. They tend to drop out of the brake levers. Careful adjustment can just prevent this from happening. For some strange reason, the plastic wheels have a polished smooth surface: NO tread at all! This means they slip and slide just a bit, both on carpet and hard floors. Treaded RUBBER wheels would be much better. Would we buy this product again? You bet! This is a life changer for someone otherwise reliant on crutches. Electric mobility scooters can't be used in most households but this can! You can once again prepare food at the kitchen bench cook and clear up. Your carer will love this! Outdoors on the pavements and at the shopping mall you will get a few bemused smiles but you will be able to go almost everywhere in comfort and safety. If you are on crutches and have one good foot and can use the other knee, get one of these! Read full review

I found the scooter hard on my load leg. There was a lot of pressure on it. I had to add three inches of foam to the seat. I was fatigued using the scooter. I actually broke out in a sweat. Once I added the foam to the seat the scooter didn’t fit into my Mazda CX 3. So no, not happy with the product. I bought a lambs wool seat cover. It helps keep the foam in place, that’s about all, but it doesn’t add enough softness for comfort. Perhaps my condition is too fatigued for the product.

This great little scooter is great! I have an injury on the sole of my foot. The padding for the knee is good, the adjustable height of the handlebars, the fantastic basket, and it folds down well for the car. The quality of the tyres could perhaps be improved so the brake system is even more effective with more grip. Went for an hour and a half walk on an outside path on a headland along straights and some short hills both up and down.

After about 20 minutes on crutches I searched for an alternative and found this. It arrived in a jiffy and was surprisingly sturdy for it's modest pricetag. It was also very easy to set up and now I feel as free as a bird. If you hate crutches... get one now.

Great item, allows freedom of movement. Easy to control only slight problem has no parking brake, which makes it difficult to hold whilst alighting on a sloping surface .
