I now own all the BBC "Farm" series and am thrilled to own and watch them. They bring a good deal of enjoyment to what would otherwise simply be a history lesson. Ruth is especially entertaining with you laugh often filling in a moment here and there. Would highly recommend any of the "Farm" series to anyone and everyone. Give your kids a treat and get them. I watch them quite often, to be truthful as there is so much to take in, one viewing isn't enough. The Green Valley is the 'driest' of the series but I think that is because there isn't enough of the personal interchange that we get from Alex, Ruth, and Peter on the other series, and two additional historians have been added but with no introduction, they seem more of an intruder than a help. Just my opinion, but still worth viewing. I'm happy to own all the Farm videos; if only I could be so courageous and energetic. Huggz from Canada.Read full review

This is early in a long series in experimental archaeology that the participants have done over the years. Set in UK, It’s all about farming life in 1600. All are good but this is exceptional. Well worth the long wait for the disc from UK.
