Recommended on SO many levels
Gave it to my Uncle who found out recently he has cancer, I know the author's credentials and intelligence, plus heritage and expertise would impress him. Plus Pulitzer Prize winning and acclaimed by reader and critic alike. Can't go wrong lol!! Pretty meaty book apparently but cancer's not exactly a light and fluffy subject, is it?!

Great book- reads like a thriller, yet very interesting scientifically as well. tells the story of cancer, especially in the modern era, and of the politics behind it.
