Chuck Blackfoot and his lifelong friend, Jeff Harding decide to take a much needed vacation to get away from their demanding jobs in Washington, DC, and do some rock climbing on Devil's Tower, located t far from their home town of North Fork, Wyoming. It would also give the men a chance to visit with their families. An accident causing serious injuries to Chuck sends Jeff back to town to arrange a rescue for his friend, leaving Chuck alone with a dangerous storm rapidly approaching. Neither man is prepared for the rapidly unfolding events that will throw their lives and the lives of the entire world into utter chaos. First Chuck is rescued from the storm; t by a paramedic, but by a wild animal. Then serious weather conditions threaten to change the face of the earth. Peggy Morris Shuman and Tim Morris are an aunt/nephew writing team. The Guardian is their first novel and they are working on their second one. Other novels are in the planning stage. Peggy Morris Shuman lives in South Georgia with her husband, Charles and their rescued cat, Shadow. She writes poetry and has been published in Great Britain. She is a retired R. N. and when she is not writing she designs and makes jewelry with a close friend. She also enjoys cake decorating, painting and playing the keyboard. Tim Morris lives in South Georgia with his wife Jennie and their four children. During his four years in college he was a journalist for The Stallion at Abraham Baldwin College and the Spectator at Valdosta State University.
