Elizabeth Jade lives with her father in a small town Nebraska. She has dreams of becoming a teacher, but all of that seems impossible once her father anunces that he has promised Elizabeth in marriage to a local man in the town. But Elizabeth refuses to let this happen and runs away from home. She ends up in the small town of Rothsburg and soon meets Peter Nietz. They begin a courtship and all seems to be going well for Elizabeth. And then Peter makes a decision that leaves Elizabeth devastated and forces her to try and move on with her life.
Chelsey Criner is a student at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln studying Advertising and Public Relations with a minor in History. She has been published in several anthologies and had her first book, Lalaine, published in 2006. Chelsey enjoys reading and writing in her free time, and wants to continue with a career in writing. Chelsey has worked several jobs, mainly in the restaurant business including a time as a assistant manager. Her favorite work was the three weeks she spent working with the Special Olympics 2010 USA National Games that were held in Lincoln that year.
