Author Biography
Doris Wellington began her romance with words at age six in Wilson, North Carolina. She attended The American University in Washington, DC and was was ordained to ministry in 1984. She has authored, twenty epic stage plays, including the celebrated allegorical production, I Waltzed with God the Morning of Genesis: A Mosaic for Peace, Dead Woman Dancing on Her Grave, and God, I'm Here and I'm Colored. She's the author of the thirteen-book poetic epistolary, entitled: Romancing God: The Divine Love Affair; as well as The Divine Notebook, The Dear John Reader, and The Poverty Manifesto. Additionally, she has authored four novels, and one memoir, The River God Runs through Her. She coauthored, Stokestown: Dreaming behind Closed Doors., 2015. She has recorded and studied more than 20 000 prophetic dreams, used in the curriculum of The Prophetic Path Dream Summit, which she founded to teach the prophetically inclined to tap into the hidden power of dreams. She travels internationally as a minister, motivational speaker and life coach. She lives and pastors in Atlanta, Georgia
