Author Biography
Lt.Colonel T.L. Harlan is retired from the U.S. Army. His career spanned 40 years, much of that time spent in the Shadow World of Spycraft. He served variously as a DoD Special Agent (Federal Investigator), a CounterIntelligence Officer, a Global Strategic Intelligence analyst, Commanding Officer of a Military Police unit (same as a civilian Chief of Police), an Undercover C.I.D. informant on narcotics investigations, and other such assignments. LTC Harlan won many medals, ribbons, and awards over his years of service in the U.S. Armed Forces, including the Meritorious Service Medal while Commander of the CounterIntelligence Detachment at Fort Meade, Maryland, whose Agents were instrumental in the capture of 15 foreign insurgents from the Middle East living and plotting in America, four of whom were sent by Al-Qaeda, and one of whom was a lieutenant of Osama bin Laden.
