Author Biography
Hans Christian Andersen (1805-1875) was a Danish writer who gained fame with his fairy tales, such as The Ugly Duckling and The Little Mermaid, which were cleverly written to disguise the tales' sophisticated moral teachings. An acclaimed narrator, Rebecca Burns has recorded such titles as Little Women by Louisa May Alcott, A Little Princess by Frances Hodgson Burnett, The Jungle Book by Rudyard Kipling, and Pollyanna by Eleanor H. Porter.
