Cannot get this adapter to work on any of my 2 desktop PC's, but works perfectly well on my laptop ? I am running windows 7Pro on the 2 desktops and windows 10 on the laptop. The Adapter is not recognized by the desktops, I've tried with several hard drives attached to it. I don't remember anything in the product description when I bought it about the item not being compatible with windows 7. But if you buy one for use with a laptop running windows 10, your ok.
