Works to expectation. One negative point is the sharp ragged top edge of torch which could cut skin. Had to file the edge to make it safe. Can't rate durability yet.

It is light weight and durable , as far a brightness goes however ,, it starts that way but does not stay bright for too long ,before it dims ,, This torch is best used in very short bursts so to to speak, used more than a few minutes at a time drains the battery quickly

The Ultrafire Torch is quite bright but is no brighter than a genuine 200 Lumen torch I have. This torch is NOT 50,000 Lumens as stated, and its beam doesn't penetrate 500 metres, more like 80-100 metres. To obtain 50,000 Lumens would require two very large automotive driving lights. This listing could be subject to a false advertising claim. However, I purchased it well knowing the limitations of a torch this size and I am very happy with it. Especially the low price which means you can afford a few of them, one for the car and house and a couple for the garage. The torch is somewhat lightweight in the body, but should last a long time if not treated too harshly. All up, a good buy for the money, just don't expect it to light up the countryside for 500 metres!

Bought a similar torch 10 years ago for same price and couldn't pass this up as has extra features.

This sturdy little torch, with adjustable focus and wrist strap is a really handy thing to have, especially in the car glove box. (Hence, I bought 2) Another great feature is the 18650 Li-Ion rechargeable battery. A very good investment.
