Current slide {CURRENT_SLIDE} of {TOTAL_SLIDES}- Best Selling in Scanners
I had one of these since they first came out and it performed very well on the higher frequencies, not so well on the lower ones. But it eventually went 'deaf' on all channels, so I have kept an eye out for one ever since as Uniden have discontinued this model. I like the way that you can apply different settings to each channel that is programmed. This allows you to get maximum performance from the unit. This is probably not a beginners scanner unless they have knowledge of frequencies, CTCSS, modulation etc. The instruction book is about 50 pages long, so it will take a while to work things out. So, a fairly good scanner. It's a pity they are no longer made.

Easy to operate, even an oldie like me can get things going in next to no time. Simple easy to read instructions, with pc software from uniden, this scanner is simple to programme. Highly recommended.

Would recommend to people looking for the scanner that does the basic well. Bit tricky to load frequencies to start with compared to earlier models although once done simple to use.
