The shade sail has tears/ missing threads at the central join. ( you can see through it in these areas) The sail also is longer in the centre than on the edge so it will sag greatly in the middle if stretched. It would need support under it or put on a very great angle to stop water pooling in it. Quality seems very poor and is not fit for purpose.

Have only just put this shade sail up and I think it is going to be a problem there is to much loose material in the middle of the sail and no matter how much angel put on it I think the centre is going to fill with water when it rains. Have put a lot of angle on the sail but I don't think it's going to work . I'm going to give it a bit of time to see if the middle will tighten up.

The material is too flimsy for being rain proof. It also doesnt stretch tight which is needed to deflect rain. The edging is not webbed like commercial products and is 24mm wide at the ends only. Unforntunately this product is advertised incorrectly.
