Melinda Jackson owns Working Aces, a temp agency in California. She employs disadvantaged women from shelters and referrals, trains them in her own special school, and absorbs them into her family of Aces. Their free education teaches them office skills, proper behavior, and training in industrial espionage. After training they are carefully evaluated, trained, tested and deployed. Melinda's strategy is to work the first day on a job and to assess the businesses' potential to provide her with useful information. She tells the client she will place the perfect employee in their business, and she does. Each placement is carefully chosen to pass confidential information back to the Ace's office. Melinda uses it for gaining power, influence and of course, profit. The organization has grown to well over five hundred employees and w there are more Aces permanently placed than temp employees. Aces position themselves at the perfect time and place for PR photos and stories, marry influential men, and garner support for Melinda to run for office. The plan is working.
