Oh what FUN! I got this book of patterns in the mail and immediately scanned the table of contents. I was looking for some simple patterns of safari animals, and this book had a gob of them, 60 to be exact. I may be sawing with my new scroll saw for a long time, and the secret of cutting is to start with a piece of wood and a clear pattern. Lora S. Irish compiled a neat picture book of the following: Baboon, bushbaby, camel, caracal, cheetah (2), chimpanzee, Derby eland, dolphin, African elephant (3) elephant seal, elk buck (2), Thomsom gazelle (2), giraffe (2), Western Lowland gorilla, Silverback gorilla, hippopotamus, mustang horse, ibis, jaguar, kangaroo (2),kingfisher, koala, greater kuda, leopard, African lion (3), llama, meerkats, ostrich, panda, black panther, parrot (3), Emperor penquin, polar bear, big sheep horn, caribou, rhinoceros (2), ringtail, seal pup, Springbok buck, Bengal tiger (3), walrus (2), water buffalo, gray whale, zebra (2) I listed all the animals because that is what I wanted to know the most when I went to buy this book sight unseen. I was specifically looking for zebras, and I was pleased when I got the book. It had two zebras. But the elephants are so delightful, and other patterns are so clear in their detail, I know I got a treasure in this book. I'd recommend it to anyone. Even young children first starting out in cutting on a scroll saw can use them and get good results.Read full review

Lora Irish has beautiful patterns that make a beginner feel quite successful. The images are impressive and distinct. From the very beginning, I was thrilled with how each project turned out. From the first cut to the last cut will generally take you only an hour or two.
Heading to the shop to use it.
