World Without End
This is absolutely the best book I have ever read. Ken Follet is an amazing author. He makes the reader feel as if s/he is right there in the middle ages, along with the characters. Plot development is amazing (not easy in a 1100+ page book!), the characters are believable, the research & history is impeccable...what more can I say? I've read this book 6 times and can only pray that Follett will write yet another sequel. I've given this book many times as gifts (along w/ the prequel, "Pillars of the Earth,") and also recommended it many times. KUDOS to Follet. He is truly a master writer.

Excellent read!
Not quite as good as Pillars of the Earth, his best in my view, but still an excellent read along the same lines as Pillars. Ken Follett is a fabulous author!

Great follow up book to Pillars of the Earth. Liked the ancestors being part of the story. Hope he plans on more in this series.
