Although I rate this product highly it lacks one important feature. Thel very thing I chose it for its small folding feature ..On delivery I found the legs with the wheels on will only fold up if you undo the holding bolt completely which takes to much time .It may be a safety feature in its design but this could be rectified by redesigning the locking method .We need a second one but I wont by this again because I need one to fold up smaller ( Ironically to the size it actually comes in the box

Bought this for my wife to use after ankle surgery, since she must not place any weight onto her foot for six weeks while in plaster. Based on the nominated "TGA Approval" and purchase price we purchased this Knee Scooter from Mytopia. It worked out about the same as hiring 1, then can hopefully sell it after the 6 weeks. The frame is not perfectly straight and I had to make quite a few adjustments to the assembly and fit to correct some manufacturing flaws - Chinese materials and QA. A buckled rear wheel was replaced by the supplier at no cost after providing photographic proof to them. The frame deflects under weight from the knee and makes a "squeaking" noise at each step cycle. I believe the vertical tube at the adjustable knee pad/seat post should be extended down and welded to the horizontal frame tube leading back to the rear wheels. That will stiffen the whole frame and shorten the cantilevered length of the "L-shaped" lower tube. I will perform that frame modification myself to eliminate the deflection. I have seen other almost identical scooters with a frame having complete vertical tube design - wonder who copied who ?? The knee pad/seat is quite firm despite having a moulded shape, so I installed 25mm of high density foam on top to provide more cushioning when kneeling on it. The white "fluffy" cover fits over the extra foam padding and pad OK. A proper parking brake that will stop the scooter from moving without constantly squeezing the hand lever would be much better than the single rear tyre brake on this scooter. Overall, it is OK for the price and expected use, but we would buy a better quality design if my wife had to use it for longer than 6 weeks.Read full review

I find this product so much easier to use than crutches. It's great that the handle folds down to make it easy to put in car. Turning circle could be improved. I needed to add extra padding to the knee seat so that it didn't hurt my shin. I highly recommend this product for any foot injuries.

Having to be off my left foot for at least 6-8 weeks with a family, this scooter has given me mobility that I would never have had with crutches. Highly recommended and the basket is great for carrying things around.
