I have a 2009 Kawaski Vulcan EN500. These mufflers fit like they were made for it. They were easy to install. I removed the old pipes and these bolted right in place. They look like they were installed at the factory. I did cut the hanger bracket after sizing, but that was for looks only, as I did not want it hanging down and wanted a clean looking job. I used two of the inserts to fit the header pipes. And I used a heavy coat of muffler paste. No leaks, and sounds like a beartone between shifts. All in all they have a good sounding rumble which gets quiet after about 60 mph. I am not worried about waking up my neighbors as I leave for work at 5am. But could if I wanted to.

Installed on a Yamaha XS400. They look and sound great. They seem to have multiple chambers of mechanical baffles but they are louder than stock. Not too loud, at about 80 decibels and throaty. Save yourself some time and: line up the reducer slits, use copper RTV, and get new clamps. Also, cut a few extra slits on the muffler so it can compress more and evenly.

Great value, finish, easy to mount, recommended! The included reducers make the job that much easier.

You probably will have to do some customizing of the mounting brackets, but if you're handy enough to change the pipes, you should have no problem.
