816 Trading is a tribute my Dad, he is a collector in his own way. He grew up in poverty, rarely owning a toy. He worked hard to become a Master Plumber. He retired in his late 60's, and thanks to decades of hard work he is blessed with the means to indulge his inner-child. He collects items which bring him joy, and when he finds a special item he shares it with his family and tells a story about childhood. Telling the story creates a new happy memory for him and for us. One object at a time, unpleasant memories fade away and are replaced. After he's told the story, he is ready to pass the item along to someone else to enjoy. Many items in our store have passed through Russ's collection.

    Wonderful seller. My dishes arrived super quickly. They were just as described. When I received the boxes and went to retrieve them from my front step, my heart sank as I saw that one of the boxes (which was very clearly covered in stickers stating fragile) was quite mangled. When I tell you that it was only the exceptional care shown in the seller's packaging of the dishes that saved them from being completely shattered, I mean it. I sincerely appreciate it. Love the dishes. Thanks!
