The molcajete and tejolote are just as described. the carving is obviously done by hand and while not to be considered as sculpture, it is very impressive as a well done craft. The cost of these handcrafted mortar and pestles is surprizingly reasonable. I am in the process of breakng it in using salt and water. I am very well pleased with the fast delivery and packageing. I will be purchasingmore of them for friends and fellow family cooks. Thanks for making these available.
