The product came very well packed and appears to be intact. The antistatic bag was sealed. The box was opened. So basically as described. I still haven't tested the drive yet. That has to wait until I receive other components. I'm hopeful because this drive, based on the HGST, has a better reputation than most of the recent WD offerings. "Technically" the warranty is almost up but hopefully the drive lasts 5+ years.
