About us

Dan's Dreamhouse is a store I (Jess) have started for my children, and especially, my youngest son Daniel. Daniel was born with a genetic condition known as Angelman Syndrome. Angelman syndrome is characterized by severe intellectual disability, physical disability, absent speech, and seizures. A positive side effect is a generally happy demeanour - and while Dan is very hard work, his smile, happiness and contagious laughter is a joy!

My hope, and my goal with this store, is to one day save enough money to buy a home for our family, and a home we can have modified to suit Dan's ever growing needs. Currently we don't have an accessible bathroom space he can use safely, nor roof installed hoist tracks to move him about the home, and in and out of his wheelchair and his bed. We want a home that is safe, that is ours, and that provides security and comfort for ALL of our children in this challenging and changing world.
