About us

I love painting and found my niche in folk art/decorative painting.
I started Folk Art painting back in 1991 with a neighbour at the time. This quickly turned into a teaching opportunity at a local craft group and continued for over seven years. Doors opened to also teach from home during those years.
I had a break from my beloved craft for nearly ten years and one day there was an overwhelming aspiration to do folk art again. So began the re-collection of craft supplies began. This time around it was not a trip to your local craft store but searching my way around the internet.
With enough supplies and a small studio was built and the creation of painted items began. Along with an extra supply of folk art books.
The inspiration for my work comes from the wonderful ladies who etched the way their in this craft to be accessible and enjoyable to us all now.
