  Described as NEW, the item was probably a b-stock or it was opened: Recently I bought other encore mics, and comparing to them, there was no plastic foil around the microphone protecting it inside of the box. Also, on top of the the capsule housing, there were slightly signs of use. Otherwise everything good. Mic is fantastic, especially for the price. The shipping was fast, and packaging was well made. The opened box bothers me but at this price I can't really complain, so I'll give 5 stars.
