Monsters help us to retain the open mind of childhood, the imagination and vision that becomes pigeonholed with age, the numbing effect of corporate media and the culturally accepted "norms" imposed upon us by institutions that would use us as their disposable sources of wealth. From Godzilla to Frankenstein to King Kong to The Creature, monsters push us to reflect upon the horrors of war, the destructive consequences of colonialism, and the tragedy of exploitation of the natural world. Join us in a journey back to the halcyon days of monster fandom and collecting.
