About us
Kart Crazy is a UK based shop supplying Kart spares around the world.
We are owned and managed by Shaun Finch, an electronic engineer, who spent the first 15 years of his career commissioning RADAR and weapon systems on Navy ships.
His passion for motorsport spares began when he designed one of the first “speed shifters” for clutch-less gear changes on motorbikes which he raced from the mid 90s to 2007.
In 2011, when his son was 8, they began karting. Then, in March 2012 they lined up for their first MSA kart meeting. Shaun took on the role of mechanic while also doing lots of test days and IKR racing. His son went on to win many races and compete in SuperOne. During this time it became clear that the cost of kart electronics was high. So Shaun started repairing transponders and designed sensors to work with MyChron & Alfano lap timers – Kart Crazy was born.
Since then, Kart Crazy has evolved to design & 3D print a variety of kart products using PLA, which is biodegradable.

Service provided as expected with transponder working perfectly after. I have used many transponders serviced using this business and all have never given any problems. The service did take 1 month (no problem) and only comment is it would be nice to have confirmation of receipt of the transponder given its value but apart from that, I would use again for sure. Poste cost note accurately reflecting the service used for return but again, no biggie, but could be cheaper.
