About us

Our family run business in Westcliff on Sea, Essex, is an Aladdin's Cave full of affordable, good quality fabrics and haberdashery.

We carry a huge stock of fabrics including 100% Cottons, Dress fabrics, Woollens, Fleece, Felt, Fur fabrics, Calico, Muslin, PVC, Corduroy, Upholstery - the list goes on! Our shop is a fabric lovers dream. Our Sewing School run from our 292 London Road premises has taught 100's of people of all ages to sew and create some wonderful crafts.

We are proud to say that having been established nearly 50 years ago by our wonderful Dad, Len Kaye in York Road Market in Southend on Sea, we are still bringing you beautiful fabrics together with good old fashioned customer service.

The reason being that the incorrect address had been supplied to them. I contacted Kayes textiles to receive the suggestion that maybe a member of my family had taken the package in and not told me.
