They are actually microfibre which tend to be a bit hot during summer months. I did contact the seller to express my disappointment and it took them over 24 hrs to respond, but they did eventually indicate they may offer a refund. I could see this was going to be a lengthy process so decided to donate them to a charity rather than go through the hassle. Definitely not cotton
