However there was a problem with the security code (it turned out to be a slight error in the code - a '2' where there should have been a '3'). Attempts to e-mail oem_car_radio customer services directly produced no result, but when I contacted them via the eBay messaging system I got a prompt response, and after a couple of quick exchanges the code error was sorted. So all well in the end!
