I received 12 COUNTERFEIT Ichibugin coins. Atrocious junk. These coins were advertised to be fully legitimate Japanese silver Ichibugin coins from the Tenpō era. These fakes were crudely cast, and did not stand up to a specific gravity test. Zero silver content. Super inconsistent weights. I must admit, the price was too good to be true. The cast fakes I received don’t even match the listing photos. I’ve never been scammed this badly all my life. Save yourself; Avoid this seller at all costs.

As described, some of the coins were minted before 1668. Research declared a character on the coins changed after that date and after cleaning I found coins dated before and after the change. Arrived early and was wrapped in material folded carefully as is normal for Japanese goods. Will be buying more of the many items displayed.
