No way of knowing if this is an aftermarket item or OEM. If aftermarket, then the price is way too much (about twice as much).

Getting hard to find older Craftsman parts. When/if you search for this part, what you generally find are inexpensive imported knock-offs, prone to breaking according to reviews.
