The listing stated that the item qualifies for the manufacturer's warranty, but when I attempted to register it with Philips, the model number followed by the letter "X" was unrecognized. I contacted the seller to clarify whether the toothbrush was new or refurbished. Unfortunately, they avoided answering my question and instead told me to visit their company website without providing the link. There is lack of transparency
