Upon receiving the VCR, it would turn off after 6 seconds. It did stay on when running in a dark room, but one of the capstans didn't move causing the machine to eat the tape. Ordered a new belt, took apart the VCR to find the previous belt melted (!). Upon replacing the belt the machine seems to be working as needed. I can't give a stellar rating for this experience. The price was ok, even for a non working unit, but the description was not correct - it didn't function as intended at sale.
