Ordered in error. Requested to cancel but seller refused claiming ‘all orders were picked and packed earlier today and the mail is due to be collected any moment’. Item returned and refunded but I ultimately costing me around £3.50 in return postage. Appreciate they have a lot of items to sieve through but I feel they missed an opportunity to show great customer service and focus.

We sell across several sites, not just eBay, therefore we don't just get cancellation requests on eBay. It states on our listings orders cannot be cancelled. Our orders are automated and go straight into the warehouse to pick and pack. They are packed into cages which are then sealed. So to "sieve through" ordres is impractical, inefficent and a waste of staff's time. Would you expect Next to do that? It also delays other customer's orders being dispatched. But hey don't let that concern you....
