I specialize in cards and paper ephemera of all eras and nationalities and subjects. I am the author of the definitive guide to boxing cards of the New World, America's Great Boxing Cards. I also am the author of the only guide to sports arcade cards, Exhibit And Related Sports Arcade Cards. I frequently buy collections and sell them here, so please check back weekly. I generally list on Saturdays. Most sales start at $5 for the lot and I do not end auctions early, so you will get a fair chance at every item. That said, if you just gotta have something and the listing doesn't have a Best Offer option, please PM me an outrageously high offer and I will consider it. I also combine shipping costs and when possible use the eBay Standard Envelope to save you more shipping costs.

    I paid $135 for this card, which was packaged in an unpadded cardboard mailer and a flimsy Card Saver IV, despite the $8.90 s&h. As a result, the envelope was bent during shipping, and the card sustained a bend that extends halfway down the image. I contacted the seller to ask that he use better packaging next time. Instead of simply accepting responsibility and apologizing, he blamed the PO (“Your PO must’ve really jammed that one”). Also I paid on 8/9, but the card wasn’t shipped until 8/15.

    I packed the item in a stiffened mailer. I've done the same with thousands of cards. Occasionally, the USPS crushes one. "Padding" would not have made a difference; it would have been a crushed padded mailer. More to the point, I asked him if he wanted to return the card and he said no. Apparently, he is happy to keep the item but wants me to grovel. No thanks. As for timing, the item was shipped within the time expressly stated in the listing. I had a family medical emergency last week.
